Tularosa Children's Archaeology Fair/h2>

Joe Ben (Kid Rock) Sanders of Southern New Mexico Archaeological Services,Inc., will present an exciting hands-on program about archaeology. Participants will learn what an archaeologist does, what tools are used and how to preserve artifacts. Children will also have a chance to do their own excavating, learn about petroglyphs and the Indian writing system. Free hot dogs and drinks will be provided for lunch. This is a useful learning experience and fun at the same time. Space is limited so it is important to register early. If there are more children than space, Joe Ben will host a second Children's Archaeology Fair on Saturday, May 30th so that all children are given the opportunity to attend. Come by the Tularosa Public Library and register now.
